This homegrown Canadian cider made with all natural apples has taken huge strides in the marketplace. Now with an updated colour-infused, upright boat shaped display, you can put your Oars Up and grab a bottle or two stacked within. The change from white to navy blue has increased the visual appeal of this display, lending to a more crisp and clean look.

An enlightening experience
While doing my internship at Proprint Sevices, I was invited to attend the Esko 3rd annual Flexographic Packaging honours course in Ghent, Belgium. The course lasted 2 weeks and provided me with the opportunity to learn and explore Esko’s latest and greatest software, as well as experience the small city of Ghent and all it has to offer. With a population of around 260 000 people, the city of Ghent has a lot of history and was once the largest and richest city in all of Europe. The gothic architecture, beautiful cobblestone roads, bike lanes and delicious food are just some of the draws this wonderful city has to offer. The Belgian waffles, chocolate as well as the homemade jenever served at Dreupelkot were some of my favourites!

A spectrum of possibilities
Colour is all around us – we see it everyday yet rarely take notice of how it impacts our lives and our emotions. Did you know that through proper use of colour management, colour can have a direct impact on how we interact with brands?
When we think of colour, we think of the Rainbow, the colour spectrum, emotions and objects that are expressed. Did you know that not all languages have the same number of basic colour categories? Some languages like Russian have a whopping 12 basic colour categories whereas, Whobe only have 3: Kpe, Pluu, Sain.
Looking back on a great experience
Hello. My name is Aidan Kahane and I was an intern this summer at Proprint Services located in the GTA. We learn about all the different aspects of the printing industry such as design, pre-press, press, post-press, and marketing. Read More
Shohaib Iqbal took on a personal project where he went to the supermarket to find something inexpensive on the shelves, take it home, and completely redesign the packaging so that the product could be sold for double the price.
He took three types of birds and based the packaging colours around them in order to make variations of his design. I think we can all agree that Shohaib’s design is a much more elegant and minimalistic design compared to the current one.
On your marks…
The creators of the Brum Brum bicycle have developed an innovative packaging design that transforms into a play house for the bike. The box is easy to transform, can hold the bike up, and allows kids to let their imagination run wild with the corrugated colourable walls. Kids can draw, colour and design their own little house and customize it however they want. Although this product is still under development, the prototypes have been looking really good and have even received awards for their design.
With new technology embedding itself into our daily lives such as smartphones, smartwatches, and smart refrigerators, why do we still use century old technology when measuring? The Begal helps you measure, organize and analyze any size measurements in a smart way.
Hot Wheels has taken it’s outdoor advertising to an entirely new level. By simply using scale, they have managed to strike a chord with both parents and kids.
These made us smile
Good retail point of sale (much like good advertising) evokes emotion. These examples are quite memorable and fun.
